ABOUT THE CLUB
Beachwood Country Club was originally designed around the mangrove swamp in the late 1920's by Percy Gilbert Stiebel.
During the mid 1990's, The Gary Player Design group remodeled Beachwood substantially altering the 4th and 14th Fairways, as well as adding 78 new bunkers throughout the course. Apart from the par three 2nd hole, all fairways run parallel to each other alongside the Indian Ocean coastline which is 2km from Virginia Airport and
20 minutes drive from King Shaka International Airport. The Club House is an amazing place with a trendy vibe offering tantalizing meals and beverages, catering for private/corporate events, families and is open to the general public.

SIMON DRAYCOTT
Simon Draycott is the face of Beachwood Country Club. He embarked to create the opportunity of the rejuvenation of the club through him residing on the course and from his love for the course. Simon has lived on the course for 20 years and has been a player of the course for 40 years. Simon is involved in property and has become a well known figure in the industry. He is a golfer through and through and has many golfing accolades. If you need him, you will find him on the course.
